Dr. Weisenborn specializes in training where he develops and implements safe and healthy schools, crisis prevention training, and security protocols to help agencies effectively manage unexpected events using mitigation, preparedness, training and exercise procedures to safeguard their assets. He presented at the International School of Business Officials conference on his published paper (June 2007) “ A Systems Approach to Safety” showing how to prevent/mitigate, prepare and recover from a crisis. He served as a Senior Loss Control Consultant for Professional Underwriters to travel across New York State and perform Safety Risk Assessments to reduce and control workplace violence in public not for profit agencies. The first nine years of Dr. Weisenborns career was in teaching, he brings age and level appropriate training to his clients. He is regarded as one of the most knowledgeable  Safety Educators across New York State. He has designed numerous simulation crisis training exercises  that he presents to agency staff, and provides security awareness, threat management, workplace violence training and Child Abuse Prevention Training.
Dr. Weisenborn is an instructor at University at Buffalo teaching safe and healthy (SAVE) schools course to graduate school students. His research Focuses on student internet on-line behaviors and the dangers they pose to children.
